Welcome to the Sea of Leaves, where I post my musings, insights (might not be too-many of those), and ideas on running games in my tabletop RPG setting, Sea of Leaves . I'm a relative newcomer to RPGs, having only been able to indulge in them as a married adult, so my experience in terms of length of time is quite limited. I have also been almost completely relegated to the role of referee, having participated in games as a player a total of...two times. I think. Pathfinder was my first actual game, and it still holds a special place in my heart despite having fallen-out with it due to the unbearable amount of options and crunch. Since then, however, I've cast the net wide, sifted through what I've found, and have finally narrowed-down my preferences to OSR-style games, from which Sea of Leaves  takes more than a little inspiration.
